The Annual General Meeting of Gateway Recreation Centre Inc. will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the Executive boardroom at 1717 Gateway Road.
NOTICE OF MOTIONS
Motions and amendments to By-Law No. 1 of Gateway Recreation Centre Inc. must be submitted in writing no later than February 22, 2026 in order to be put forward at the Annual General Meeting of Gateway Recreation Centre Inc.

Notice is hereby given that nominations for the following positions of the Gateway Recreation Centre will be received by the nominating committee:

HOCKEY CONVENER – U9A1 AND UP
RINGETTE CONVENER
SOCCER CONVENER – OUTDOOR
SOCCER CONVENER – INDOOR
SOFTBALL CONVENER
BASEBALL CONVENER

NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE POSITIONS
Notice is hereby given that nominations for the following Executive Member positions of the Gateway Recreation Centre:
PRESIDENT
VICE PRESIDEN ADMINSTRARTION
Will be received at the following times and locations:
February 22 – March 19, 2026 at the office of the General Manager of the Gateway Recreation Centre up until 4 PM on March 19, 2026. Persons wishing to submit nomination papers outside of normal working hours may do so by utilizing the mail slot on the door of the General Managers office.
All nomination papers must be completed in full and shall be signed by at least two electors of the community. Nomination papers not properly completed and filed shall be rejected.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRESIDENT
The position of President may only be filled by a person who is at least 18 years of age on election day, is a resident within the Centre’s boundaries and has served at least one (1) consecutive year on the Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR VICE PRESIDENT
The position of Vice-President may only be filled by a person who is at least 18 years of age on election day, is a resident within the Centre’s boundaries has served at least one full term on the Board of Directors.
