Baseball Registration is done through Red River Valley Baseball

Please note that whenever you enroll your child in this baseball, it requires the cooperation of at least 5 parents to manage the team. There is the contact person (sometimes the coach), and then there is usually a 1st base coach, a 3rd base coach, someone to count pitches, and someone to keep score. So please keep this in mind when registering and indicate this on your form.

Baseball usually starts around the beginning of May, weather permitting.

Teams will be:

RALLY CAP    (2012 • 2013 • 2014 • 2015*)*players must turn at least 4 by July 1.

Game Days: Mondays and Wednesdays
The Rally Cap program will service the 4 – 7 age group, and involves three teams of six players that meet at the park at the same time. Two teams play a 20 minute game, while one team practices in the outfield. Every 20 minutes they switch, so that each team plays two games and has one practice in the 60 minutes session.

GRAND SLAM   (2010 • 2011)

Game Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Grand Slam is the follow-up program for Rally Cap and is meant for players aged 8 and 9. It was developed by Baseball Canada and is designed to develop skills in our young players by reducing team sizes and encouraging touches of the baseball through practice and game situations. Baseball Canada has put forth guidelines; teams of 6-8, all players in the infield, all players bat each inning, no walks or strikeouts, etc. Typical game days would probably include a 15-30 minute practice and then a game with another team afterwards. 60-90 minutes total.

MOSQUITO  (2008 • 2009)

PEE WEE   (2006 • 2007)

BANTAM    (2004 • 2005)

MIDGET    (2001 • 2002 • 2003)
